Okay lots going on in surrounding area over the next week or so. We have the Fiesta del Santa Ana in Molvizar the 23rd-27th of July, the 4th Annual Nazari Expo in Vélez de Benaudalla 29,30 and 31 July, and Jazz in the Casa de los Bates on the 4th of August!
Summer would just not be summer without the sound of rockets going off at all hours of the day and night announcing the start, the finish or the midway point in the celebrations. We are talking fire power too, none of those kiddy crackers, these are full blown exploding rockets launched from small platforms, with sticks for tails that rain down on the unsuspecting. For the uninitiated, the booms and blasts can be bewildering, but for us old pros (that doesn’t really sound right), it’s all just part of the summer on the coast.
